With Bated Breath: August New Releases

With Bated Breath August

Happy August!  Birth month for me and many awesome books.  Lots of sequels coming out this month, largely to series I haven’t actually started so…*shrug*.  Still lots of goodies though, like the 10th book in Lauren Willig’s Pink Carnation series!!  Also Untold, which I’m still unsure if I should read right away or not given the rageface the ending of Unspoken gave me.  We have The Bitter Kingdom, which is one of the best series endings ever, new Claire Legrand, and I’ll admit the trailer for The Bone Season did increase my interest in it enough to make me a little glad I lugged it home from BEA.

Go forth and read!

  1. Sometimes I get a bit overwhelmed thinking about all the new releases each month! There are always so many I’d like to read. I’m particularly interested in The Bitter Kingdom, The Bone Season and Gated!! Here’s to getting to read all the new releases we want!!! :)

  2. I’ve been hoarding Omens and The Bone Season for awhile now, so I really just need to get them read soon. I’m so excited for Untold, Relic, The Beginning of Everything, Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, False Sight, and The Golden Day. Gosh, so many books this month – I can’t wait!(:

  3. Bonnie says:

The Year of Shadows sounds freaking adorable, I can’t wait! Also, I really need to jump on the bandwagon with Willig’s series but holy crap there are already so many!

  4. So many good books coming out this month. I sometimes really hate looking at release posts because it just reminds me of how far behind I am in my review copies. I still have to read Counting by 7s and North of Nowhere. Ugh. Guess I better quit commenting on blogs, huh?

  5. Chachic says:

    Can’t wait to read Untold!
