The Hero’s Guide to Storming the Castle Blog Tour & Giveaway
3May 25, 2013 by Heidi
Hey there princes, princesses, peons and evil masterminds! Today I’m back with more Hero’s Guide goodness to present my chapter in the blog tour for Christopher Healy’s marvelous sophomore read, The Hero’s Guide to Storming the Castle. Yesterday I talked about the story, and a few weeks back I revealed some of the art–today I present to you one of my beloved villains! You all know I can’t resist a man in a kilt:
Madu
Occupation: Snake Keeper
Affiliation: Lord Rundark’s Darian Army
Kingdom of Origin: Dar (which, being ruled by a warlord, is technically not a kingdom)
Current Residence: Lord Rundark’s fortress in Dar
Parentage: Unknown
Known Associates: Wrathgar the dungeon keeper, Redshirt the barbarian, Jezek the bodyguard, Falco and Ironface the sentries
Longtime Foes: Animal rights activists
Likes: Snakes, tattoos, taunting his foes
Dislikes: Tight clothing, clowns, dental hygiene
Signature Move: The Off-Kilter
Quote: “Hello, rat. I hope you didn’t have any plans this afternoon, because I know a snake that would love to have you for lunch.”
Little Known Fact: Before his special way with reptiles was discovered, Madu was first hired as Lord Rundark’s personal chef.

Oh boy, oh boy! The snake dude looks AWESOME. I couldn’t picture him that well while I was reading, but this brings him to life in such a magnificent way for such a badass dude. How fun! I need a finished copy asap; for the art alone I’d kill for one. xD
I wonder if it’s possible to say dude more than once in a comment and not feel like an idiot. Oh, wait! Too late xD
I think I was too late to enter the giveaway, but I really want to read this series! I’ve said this about a million times though!
