Back With a Ring On It

Greetings all!  Long time no post, eh?  I know I said I’d be back in August, and it is still technically August, right?  Even if I have been married *checks calendar* a month already.  Turns out, once you get married you still have all these tedious little things like name changes and thank you notes to take care of.  C’est la vie!

I figured in my long absence I’ve become indebted to my dear readers and thus will beg your forgiveness by offering some pictures from the day.  I had an absolutely wonderful photographer, Gail Carver, whom I highly recommend if anyone is ever looking in the northern Wyoming area.  She was personable, fun, and stuck with us all day from taking pictures first thing in the morning to sunset and sparkler pictures at night.  All of these images are copyrighted in her name if the watermarks didn’t make that obvious.

For the sake of my friends and family who might not want to be on the greater internet, I’ll just be sharing a couple of Mr. Bunbury and me. All of the outdoor pictures are taken at my parents’ lovely home, including the pond.  Please enjoy!

All of the hard work paid off, and it was the perfect day!  We had homemade wedding pie, skipped the dance for lawn games and a fire pit, and were so lucky to have so many of our family and friends spend the day with us.  If any of you ever have the good fortune to marry your best friend, do it your own way and it will all come out wonderfully!

I’ll be back now with more posts and reviews to come. I’m already so over summer and ready for fall and some creepy books!  Lists are being made.

You’re done with your thank you cards within a month of the wedding? Based on my friends’ timing with those cards, I’m really impressed. 😀
