IMM 20

Well it’s been a couple of weeks, which means that of course I’ve managed to once again amass a really unnecessary number of books.  I’d like to pass off a lot of this as free Sync goodness, but alas, too much is from my NetGalley weakness!  On top of the book lovelies, I got a PUFFIN postcard from Chachic (Chacic’s Book Nook).  I love it so much!

Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff book coverThe Assassin's Curse by Cassandra Rose Clarke book coverThe Brides of Rollrock Island by Margo Lanagan book coverThe Dead and Buried by Kim Harrington book coverThe Terrible Thing That Happened to Barnaby Brocket by John Boyne book coverThe Sweetest Spell by Suzanne Selfors book cover

The Sweetest Spell by Suzanne Selfors (NetGalley) [Amazon|GoodReads]

Of the MacMillan titles, I am most excited for The Seven Tales of Trinket!  I love that it’s an odd-sized book, which is one of those extras that just captures my heart.  The Brides of Rollrock Island was on my Top 10 most anticipate reads for 2012 list, so of course I about died when I saw it on NetGalley.  And that directly led to me requested all of these other books, like The Assassin’s Curse, which I was trying hard to resist, but kept hearing awesome things about.  And then who can resist the cover of Stormdancer or the promise of a freaking Ugly Duckling retelling in The Sweetest Spell?! The word of the week is: WEAK.

Awesome books. I have yet to read Anna Dressed in Blood (Anna’s a really popular name on book titles, eh?) but I have heard such amazing things about it. Enjoy your reading!
